The 9-Center Map: From Chakras to Bodygraph

Human Design evolved the traditional 7-chakra system into 9 Centers to reflect a post-1781 mutation in the human neutrino field. The two new Centers — the Heart/Will and the Ajna — represent an evolved capacity for willpower and analytical thought that did not exist in the same way in pre-Neolithic consciousness. Each Center in the Bodygraph is associated with a biological system, a set of Gates (I Ching hexagrams), and a psychological function. Understanding all 9 Centers is essential for reading any Human Design chart.
