DreamRave
The sleep mechanics framework within Human Design — examining how the individual's design functions during sleep, the nocturnal program, and how the sleep-wake transition affects conditioning and deconditioning.
DreamRave is Ra Uru Hu's advanced curriculum examining the mechanics of human sleep and dreaming from a Human Design perspective — specifically how the nocturnal program operates, what happens to consciousness during sleep, and how the sleep state relates to the deconditioning process.
The Foundation:
Human Design's mechanics do not only apply to waking consciousness. The body continues to process its program during sleep, and the nocturnal period has its own specific mechanics — different from the daytime waking state but equally governed by the individual's unique BodyGraph configuration.
What DreamRave Covers:
- The Nocturnal Program: Ra Uru Hu taught that there is a specific program operating during sleep — distinct from the waking program but using the same planetary and neutrino mechanics. DreamRave examines the nature of this program and how it affects the individual.
- Sleep Mechanics by Type: Each Type has specific sleep-related mechanics. The Sacral Being's relationship to their Sacral energy during sleep is fundamentally different from a non-Sacral Being's. Generators need to discharge Sacral energy before sleep; Projectors need complete rest and isolation from aura contact.
- Dreaming as Program Processing: Dreams are not random mental activity — from a Human Design perspective, they represent the body and consciousness processing the program during the receptive nocturnal state. DreamRave examines this processing from the lens of the individual's BodyGraph.
- Transitional States: The transition between waking and sleeping — and the environmental conditions of that transition — are significant for deconditioning. DreamRave provides specific guidance on sleep environments and pre-sleep practices based on PHS and Variable configuration.
Practitioner Application:
DreamRave training allows practitioners to work with clients on the complete 24-hour cycle of their design — not just waking hours. This is particularly relevant for clients experiencing sleep difficulties, vivid dreaming, or disrupted sleep patterns that may have a mechanical basis in their BodyGraph configuration.
